September is National Yoga Month, so we caught up with Team B4BC rider and Olympic gold medalist Jamie Anderson who knows a thing or two about the benefits of yoga—and between the strength, flexibility, balance and meditation aspects of yoga, has credited it to much of her snowboarding success! Jamie finds balance all over the world through practicing yoga, which she tell us “has not only helped my snowboarding, but everything in my life.”

Shane Michael (Hernandez) is a longtime supporter of B4BC and the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Mitten United: a creative design agency who keeps B4BC’s website on point and is always on call for any and all tech or design-related emergencies. Shane and the Mitten United crew have fundraised over $6,000 for B4BC through the Skate the Lake and Skate the Coast series, and have held the “Top Fundraiser” and “Top Fundraising Team” positions multiple times.
