Tina Basich
ESPN X Games and overall big air and backcountry phenomenon, Tina Basich, was a personal friend of Monica Steward and had a significant role in establishing Boarding For Breast Cancer. Currently residing in Northern California, Tina is a proud mother and shop owner of My Favorite Things. As a snowboarder and author, Tina is continually inspiring females with her autobiography, Pretty Good For a Girl.

Shannon Dunn
Olympic Bronze Medalist, Shannon Dunn, has been an avid supporter of Boarding For Breast Cancer since its inception in 1996. Shannon was a friend of Monica and was one of the initial inspirations that helped make the Snowboard + Music Festival an immediate success. She is a strong believer in the concept of raising awareness and funds through youth-inspired events and programs for breast cancer research.

Lisa Hudson
B4BC co-founder Lisa Hudson owns Black Sun Productions, a video game production company that specializes in extreme sports video games. Prior to Black Sun, Lisa worked in the snowboarding industry where she met and became good friends with Monica Steward. Lisa’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer the same year as Monica. Lisa and her family lost her mother to breast cancer after a 10-year battle in the spring of 2004.

Kathleen Gasperini
Kathleen published a website and magazine called W.I.G.—for Women in General—a sports, art, music, culture magazine for young women. Monica Steward’s personal account about breast cancer ran in the inaugural issue of W.I.G. in 1995. Kathleen also writes for various magazines and websites about youth culture, sports, and women’s issues. She is also a co-founder of Label Networks, a leader in remote market research services.

Anke CorbinPresident, Anke C. Marketing, Modeco Living
For over 12 years, Anke has been involved in action sports marketing. She recently left her position as VP, Marketing for TransWorld Media, a division of Time Warner, to launch a marketing consulting business called Anke C. and to design her environmentally responsible indoor-outdoor furniture collection, Modeco Living. In addition to her entrepreneurial business launches, Anke is a freelance writer for several eco-design, marketing and packaging media entities including The Huffington Post, Ladies Who Launch and Sustainableisgood.com. 

Justine Chiara  – Executive Director / Athlete Manager
Music industry veteran Justine Chiara first became aware of B4BC when she scheduled one of her artists to perform at B4BC’s annual fundraising event. Upon relocating to Los Angeles from New York in 2000, Justine met B4BC co-founder Lisa Hudson and began assisting the organization as a fundraiser.  In 2000, Justine was named Director of New Business Development and in January 2001 became a board member and Executive Director.  Justine and her family lost her mother to breast cancer after a 10-year battle in the spring of 2001. In addition to her role as Executive Director Justine manages the career of professional surfer Rob Machado and oversees program initiatives for the Rob Machado Foundation.

Brad StewardFounder / Creative Director, Bonfire Snowboarding Company
Brad became a B4BC board member to honor the memory of his Aunt Monica. A snowboard industry pioneer, Brad has launched many of the most influential brands in action sports – most recently, Bonfire Snowboarding, now a division of the Amer Group. 

Austin BrownMusic/Entertainment Marketing Manager, Sole Technology
Having helped build the Paul Frank brand for over 10 years, from the garage days to being sold in over 65 countries, as the Director of Global Marketing, Austin Brown is now heading up the Global Music and Entertainment Marketing Division for all the unique and forward brands underneath the Sole Technology umbrella. Sole Technology is committed to positively impacting the global youth community through involvement in events and causes supporting a fun and active lifestyle, individual integrity and style, global values and sensibilities. 

Una BakerWife, Mother, Breast Cancer Survivor
Una graduated from New York City’s prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology and was chief designer for Esprit apparel. Since relocating to Southern California, she has become a member of the San Clemente Education Foundation, co-founder of Shorecliffs Middle School Education Foundation, environmentalist and community activist. 

Molly MacDonaldDirector, Event Production, Global X Events & Development, ESPN
Molly joined ESPN in 2000 and has helped produce over 50 events with them, both domestic and international.  ESPN X Games is a proud supporter of B4BC and Molly became involved with B4BC because of her love for sports, music and to help keep young women healthy, active and aware.

Circe Wallace - Senior Vice President, WMG Management
Circe joined Wasserman Media Group in 2007 and currently serves as Senior Vice President. A former professional snowboarder, her clients include street skater Paul Rodriguez, skateboarder Jereme Rogers and snowboarder Travis Rice. She also works closely with Studio411 on the development and production of new media content.
