More and more research is revealing the health benefits of volunteering. The latest comes in from a study from the University of Exeter (UK). Researchers found a strong positive link between volunteering and well-being. For example, volunteers had a 22% lower mortality rate than non-volunteers, and they also had higher self-esteem and happiness!
The Farmers Market is a great place to find local, organic produce, and support your community as well! Shopping at a farmers’ market is a great way to meet local farmers and get fresh, flavorful produce while avoiding GMOs and pesticides (double check with your local farmer to make sure!). Search for one near you to find your newest weekly ritual!
