Studies show that being active 30 minutes a day, 3 times a week can significantly reduce your risk of breast cancer, not to mention do wonders for your overall health. Doing regular exercise helps reduce body fat and improves muscle tone helping to keep your body slim and fit!

SHRED THE LOVE // 2015 Season Wrap-Up

We’ve wrapped on another amazing year of B4BC’s Shred The Love winter series, and we are thrilled to announce that we raised over $65,000 for Boarding for Breast Cancer’s education, prevention and support programs! We would like to extend our love and thanks to our 2015 resorts and community partners and to the thousands of individual fundraisers, participants and supporters who helped Shred The Love with us this winter season. The funds raised will not only tremendously impact our programs, but additional breast health non-profit beneficiaries in the communities where events were hosted. We couldn’t have achieved this without YOU!

Shred The Love // Powder Ridge Recap

B4BC’s Shred The Love Tour stop at Powder Ridge on Saturday, February 28th 2015 was a huge success! Sº4 Mag hosted the event at the midwest resort in Kimball, MN for the 2nd year in a row. The sun was shining, the temperatures were in the mid-20’s (amazing for frigid Minnesota winters…) and all of the girls were having a blast.

Shred The Love | Taos Ski Valley Recap

Last Saturday our friends at Taos Ski Valley helped us Shred The Love for our 4th annual winter event together!  The action-packed day raised just over $35,000 for B4BC’s educational + support programs, with a portion of the proceeds also benefitting regional non-profit, the Anita Salas Memorial Fund, which provides financial assistance for breast cancer…

B4BC at X Games Aspen 2015

The B4BC educational outreach booth was a busy place during X Games Aspen 2015! Thousands of X Games goers came by the B4BC booth in the ESPN Corporate Citizenship tent to get autograph signings by Team B4BC riders Jamie Anderson, Elena Hight and Kaitlyn Farrington, take the B4BC Prevention Pledge, and learn how to #CheckOneTwo. This week we’re sharing a post with you from Burton Girls that features our B4BC team rider Kimmy Fasani! Snow season is still in full force and they’re sharing some great tips to keep us as fit as possible during this time year, and all year for that matter! The better you prepare your body for snowboarding, the harder you can ride all winter long. The B Project is a Carlsbad, CA-based gym that helps many professional snowboarders strength train. Kimmy Fasani put us in touch with the B Project to bring you a Burton Girls exclusive snowboarding fitness series, and this is the fifth article.
