CLEAR THE AIR We all want our homes to smell fresh and wonderful all the time, but synthetic canned sprays are literally chemicals in a bottle, many of which are directly linked with an increased risk of breast cancer. SAY NO TO NON-STICK, PLASTIC CONTAINERS, & CANNED GOODS Simply put choose cast iron over non-stick and Teflon. Choose leech-free glass over plastic. And always say no to canned goods. These are all super easy switches that will leave you ingesting far less toxins.
DITCH YOUR SHOES INDOORS Instead of tracking in dirt and chemicals from outside, opt to leave your shoes at the door. You’ll bring in way less chemicals to your home and it will make cleaning a lot easier for you. A win-win situation!
DON’T EAT TOXINS A simple switch from factory-farmed processed foods to organic, unprocessed foods can have a huge impact on your body and overall health. By doing this, you avoid putting all those gnarly man-made chemicals into your body that come along with these types of foods.
FILTER YOUR WATER Many of us don’t realize it, but the water we are bathing in and drinking from our sinks is actually rich with highly toxic chemicals such as fluoride, chlorine, and arsenic. An easy fix is to filter your drinking water before gulping down a glass and install a shower filter to clean up your bathing water. Water filtration systems are super reliable and can remove up to 99% of the chemicals out of your water.
