Thousands of beach-goers stopped by our booth over the week to get a hands-on educational experience with the jelly breast molds and to take our prevention pledge to lead an active, healthy lifestyle.
(Pictured top right) B4BC ambassador, Megan Pischke’s, husband / pro-snowboarder David Porcheron stopped by to show his support. (Top Left) A breast cancer survivor & her 3-daughters stopped by to thank us for educating young people about early detection & prevention, as she knows first hand the importance of being your own advocate!
B4BC team riders Courtney Conlogue, Malia Manuel, and Sage Erickson were inspiring the crowd in and out of the water. Conlogue surfed her way to the Finals for an incredible heat vs. World Champ Carissa Moore. The victory went to Moore, but the win came down to the last wave to culminate an inspiring week of surfing by all of the ladies!
In addition to the surfing there was skate action happening in the Van’s bowl, where B4BC team rider Allysha Bergado took 5th place!
