Our friends at The North Face have launched an awesome new Outdoor Exploration program called Role Models, a Facebook app call-to-action encouraging fans and partners to commit to being a Role Model in the outdoors this summer.
In it’s simplest terms, The North Face is asking people to commit to getting outside and bringing someone with them. For many people, getting outside for the first time can be overwhelming, so they’re challenging people to become Role Models and pass along their passion, and knowledge to someone else.
On the app, which will live on TNF’s Facebook page, people will be able to create and share a pledge to get outside, and then follow up to share their own stories/photos of Outdoor Exploration to win prizes.
Here is how you can help The North Face make this program a success:
Visit apps.facebook.com/tnfrolemodels, pledge to be a Role Model and share your it with your social networks using the #RoleModels hashtag. Come back later this month to upload any photos or your Role Model stories and you might see them featured on Facebook as well as their blog.
