B4BC IN YOSEMITE // FIND YOUR NATURE VIBES

Time spent in the natural world is good for the mind, body, and soul. It’s important that we connect with Mother Nature on a daily basis to help balance out the busy work/life that we’ve all become accustomed to.

Last week B4BC team rider, Mimi Knoop, Mahfia.tv’s Kim Woozy, and myself experienced a 4-day adventure in Yosemite National Park camping, hiking, swimming, star-gazing, and finding our “Yosemite Secret Spots”. A week later we’re still flying high from the nature vibes!

IT’S PERSONAL // For B4BC Team Rider Allysha Bergado

“To me, cancer is one of the most unfortunate afflictions in the world. It’s devastating and I wouldn’t wish it upon anybody. About two years ago, my aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. It had a vast effect on my family. But when she stayed strong, pushed through and became a cancer survivor, we felt such overwhelming relief. I saw the strength that was needed to get through the hardship and it made me realize that I wanted to do everything I could to help prevent myself from cancer. When I was introduced to B4BC, I was very glad to join the team. Now, I can use my passion for skateboarding as a way to help myself stay healthy and active to help prevent cancer.” – Allysha Bergado

IT’S PERSONAL // Kimmy Fasani

Living a healthy and active lifestyle and spreading a positive message goes far beyond just my love for snowboarding. A few members in my family have struggled with cancer, one being my father, who passed away from lung cancer when I was 14.
