2018 HIGHLIGHTS!
We here at B4BC are heading into the New Year with an immense amount of gratitude for what this year has brought to our organization and ultimately, to all of our hearts. We are excited to share with you some of our high points of 2018!
Survivor Support is an area we are passionate about and growing year over year!
+ Young Survivor Wellness Retreats
This year we achieved our goal of adding three more Young Survivor Wellness Retreats to our line-up of Mountain and Ocean Retreats, allowing us to support and serve 46 incredibly inspiring women.
Our beautiful locations included Mountain Retreats at Taos, NM and Jackson Hole Wyoming. Ocean Retreats were held at Squamish, BC; Tofino, BC and Encinitas, CA. These Retreats were made possible through generous support from THE NORTH FACE, YETI and LULULEMON along with scholarships provided by many other brands and individuals. Thank You! We created the Michelle Zwirn Fund in honor of our sweet friend. Michelle’s father Daniel Zwirn has stepped onto our Board of Directors and we look forward to utilizing his insurance legal assistance in our Survivor Support Programs in 2019.
Prevention & Awareness Events are where the B4BC community comes together. Funds raised through these events go to support B4BC’s Education and Survivorship Programs.

+ Shred the Love Series Winter Series
2018 was out biggest Shred the Love series to date with 14 events at mountains from California to New Hamphshire. Hundreds of participants joined us for park jams, banked slaloms, and shred-athons and rode for prevention and the ones they loved.Our 2019 Shred the Love Winter Series kicks off in January!

+ Skate the Lake & Skate the Coast
Our Skate the Lake and Skate the Coast events this year saw record participation and were our most successful fundraising events to date! We love you Tahoe and So-Cal!!

Education Outreach is the cornerstone of B4BC’s mission. We provide a ‘hands-on’ peer-to-peer experience to thousands yearly through our presence at youth lifestyle events.
