Join our growing community of riders committed to the cause! Each year, B4BC hosts longboard-a-thons (shortboards allowed… and cyclists, unicyclists, and inline skaters) that unite communities while promoting an active and sustainable lifestyle in a super fun way! Net proceeds raised by sponsors and participants are allocated to B4BC’s prevention programs as well as local area non-profits that support B4BC’s mission. To date, our signature Skate series has raised over $255,000 through both Skate the Lake™ (Tahoe) and Skate the Coast™ (L.A. County)!

Since 1998, B4BC has been hosting grassroots events in partnership with local mountains as a platform to promote healthy, active, and sustainable living. In 2011, B4BC created the Shred the Love campaign to elevate awareness of our Winter Board-a-thon Series and encourage nationwide participation in the program through online and on-mountain activities. In 2012, the campaign received a nomination for the Most Creative Fundraiser by the Stay Classy Awards!
