On March 8th the women of Whistler succeeded in creating a fun, youthful, and vibrant B4BC fashion show that took place at the GLC as a part of Women’s Week in Whistler (5th – 12th March). The Burton Women’s Store, Showcase Snowboards, Salomon Store, Westbeach and The Glacier Shop all teamed together to show the hottest new spring gear and produce a fundraiser fashion show to raise money and breast cancer awareness on behalf of B4BC.
The fashion show featured the new Spring/Summer lines from Burton, Volcom, Bonfire, Oakley and Westbeach.
Exclusive shopping nights for the ladies followed the show at the 5 stores. Showcase Snowboards and the Burton’s Women Store closed their doors to the dudes between 7pm – 10pm and hosted a private shopping party with a DJ, free cocktails & appies. Most popular was of course the free beauty treatments offered compliments of Farfalla Hair & Beauty Salon. All donations for the treatments went to B4BC.
Whistler also generously set up an educational table for B4BC at the world re-known Telus World Ski/ Snowboard Festival in mid-April and the Burton Women’s Store is continuing to sell B4BC t-shirts and wristbands to help support our cause.
