$7,780 IN PINK DOLLARS RAISED FOR B4BC
For Immediate Release
WATERVILLE VALLEY, NH Here at Waterville Valley we are down for the cause. On Sunday, February 4th we hosted a Pink Rail Jam and raffle. The amount of support and overall cash raised was staggering! With much love from the Oakley Pink Jam, Waterville Valley’s employee pink pledge and the Ultimate Women’s Pink Raffle, the total came to $7,780 to benefit the Boardingfor Breast Cancer Foundation (B4BC) and their efforts to educate young women about the significance of early breast cancer detection and the importance of an active lifestyle.
With additional support from NHUSASA, 130 riders and freestyle skiers slayed the pink course all day long to contribute $2,670 in entry fees. Everyone showed up for the fun and Oakley’s own Nelson Wormstead Maestro of Ceremonies called the tricks and entertained the crowd.
