“It was an amazing day in honor of our dear friend Monica. Perfect weather and conditions. The Beasties were playing under the name “Quasar” thinking they could keep it under wraps. Over 5,000 people showed up and Sierra had to shut down the mountain. Helicopters circling – the Beasties rocked it out on a stage our friends built. The stage was starting to sink when the Beaties went on. Somehow we were able to keep it from collapsing thru the set. Kids were jumping on and off the stage, snowballs were flying. It was a magical time. Many thanks to John Rice and Sierra; Theresa, Jackie and Fuse, Kathleen, Tina, Shannon and Dawn. On that day our foundation was born.” – Lisa Hudson, B4BC Co-Founder
