A native of Hawaii, Malia’s parents taught her to surf when she was just two years old. She began surfing in contests at age eight, and fell in love with the industry. “I never planned on being a professional surfer, it kind of chose me,” says Malia. At 14, Malia was the youngest ever female or male to win the US Open of Surfing (2008). Malia is proud to represent B4BC as cancer is a subject personal her. "I think each of us has an opportunity to give back to something they’re passionate about…My goal is to have people become more aware about making a difference for themselves and the world in the fight against Breast Cancer."
