On Saturday, February, 11th, more than 70 participants entered the Pink Ribbin Jibbin to benefit Boarding for Breast Cancer. Under clear skies men and women skiers and snowboarders gathered together and one by one hit the monstrous Smith limo rail. After judges narrowed down the selection, only 30 participants made it into the finals. Congratulations to Matt Burkett who one first in his division of eighteen and up. To Amber Marsh winner of the women’s division and congratulations to Seth Levin who won first in his age group thirteen to seventeen. Also, thank you to Brendan Marsh, who raised over $300 in sponsors to enter the jam.
Pink Ribbin Jibbin (PRJ) was able to raise over $1300, which was twice as much as last year! Pink Ribbin Jibbin would not have been possible without the help from K2 Snowboard and Ski, Smith, Giro, Red Bull, Fire on the Mountain and Burning Boards, and Cranmore Mountain, (where the Darkside crew was up late on Friday night setting up with minimal amounts of snow for the event.)
PRJ producers would also like to thank the Wesnak family, NDA crew, some Nashua boys, and Patty Graf who were all important contributors to the event as well.
B4BC would like to thank Rachel Graf and everyone at Burning Boards, Cranmore Mountain, and all the sponsors for their support! We greatly appreciate the opportunity to be granted the beneficiary of this year’s Pink Ribbon Jibbin.
