It seems as though a new tradition has started at Windham Mt. in upstate New York and B4BC couldn’t be more excited about it! Last season (2005) high school senior, Kelsey Loughlin, organized an impressive B4BC Board-a-thon to fulfill her senior project. This year she passed down the reigns to senior Kimberly Stevens.
Stevens took over the role wonderfully by successfully raising nearly $2,000 through pledges and product raffles for B4BC’s efforts. Steven’s project also ranked in the top 10 of her class and she was able to raise additional awareness in the classroom by giving a presentation and distributing B4BC shower cards and health literature to her classmates.
B4BC would like to thank Windham Mt. and all who donated their time, products, and money for Steven’s B4BC Board-a-thon and of course many thanks go out to all the hard work that Kimberly put into creating an awesome event. Great job and thank you for your solidarity Kimberly!
