Chef Lance Rolls’ bone broth uses high quality Palomar Mountain Spring water, voted one of the five best waters in the world in 2012, and an artisan well that is beyond plentiful. Inspired by the ancient philosophy that food is medicine, Chef Lance created his online bone broth business that uses only organic and grass fed animal bones with organic veggies, fruits and aromatics. This bone broth is NOT powder form, or in tetra packs that are often lined with plastics and aluminium. Doctors recommend this brand for their clients suffering from immune disorders and more, and it is suggested for overall wellness in general. B4BC supports this chef and his mission to share and educate people on health and wellness and who are interested in healing from the inside out. With this drink we get the stem cells that are regenerating our bodies, and its been called the “elixir of life” for a reason. Its a natural detoxifier, and helps to flush toxins you don’t need. If you haven’t yet, give Bone Broth a try, here! Be sure to use code: B4BC for 5% off your purchase, with a donation to each purchase benefiting B4BC and our survivor programs!

Here’s something we bet you didn’t know about mushrooms: they are among the world’s most studied superfoods.

In fact, mushrooms impact the world of Western health in a big way … even though most people are completely unaware of how integral this super fungi is to our healthcare system. Get a load of this: About 40 percent of Western medicines today, including penicillin, utilize mushrooms. Because mushrooms are so integral to clinical practices, thousands of studies have been conducted and papers have been written testifying to their incredible healing properties—to date, 1,100 papers have been published on just one single type of mushroom, of which there are more than 10,000 known varieties in North America alone. It’s time to go back to our roots. Indigenous cultures have been incorporating mushrooms into their diets in both solid and liquid form for thousands of years; it’s part of ancient survival wisdom in cultures across the world. Yup, mushrooms are the original superfood. Four Sigmatic was founded with the goal of cutting through all of the hype and helping people eat more of the world’s most scientifically studied superfoods, like mushrooms. We wanted to make these incredibly powerful foods taste better and be easier to use, so that they can be simply incorporated to upgrade your existing habits. In other words, no more fads, no more pills, and no more capsules. Learn more about Four Sigmatic and check out their products here!

MICHELLE ZWIRN

We met Michelle at our 2017 Young Breast Cancer Survivor Mountain Retreat in Taos, NM. She showed a passionate radiance which is rarely a description used in the shadowed world of stage 4 cancer. Her desire to not only be the best version of herself, but to humbly serve and support others while being in an incredibly challenging life position, taught us all so much and lent incredible value to our work at B4BC. Michelle easily connected with our team, and along with her passion for our cause, shared some of her last energies to inspire and support many others through working with B4BC. Her vibrant energies still inspire us today.

On Thursday March 29, 2018, Michelle Ilana Zwirn lost her 18 month battle with metastatic breast cancer at 27 ½ years old. Originally misdiagnosed by her gynecologist in 2014, Michelle made it her mission to help spread awareness that breast cancer does not discriminate based on age. Michelle’s spirit lives in our hearts, and represents how we support one another through challenge, heartbreak and the beautiful parts of life and truly living it. She is the reason that we at B4BC do what we do – and the true essence of giving and loving kindness.

We wish to keep Michelle’s spirit alive within B4BC through the Michelle Zwirn Survivor Fund. Donations to the fund go directly to providing grants for young thrivers and survivors to attend a Chasing Sunshine Retreat at no cost, except for travel. The retreat experiences meant so much to Michelle and were a gateway for her to support others. Through this fund, her support continues.

B4BC thanks the Zwirn family for sharing Michelle with us, and continuing to support B4BC through your actions and love.
