Killington Resort is hosting its 5th B4BC Board-a-thon event the weekend of March 8 – 10!
March 8th – Wobbly Barn Auction
To kick off the weekend, on Thursday March 8th the Wobbly Barn is hosting its annual Bachelor and Silent Auction to raise funds for the cause! From 8:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. Killington’s most eligible and stylish men put themselves on the auction block and strut their stuff at The Wobbly Barn’s Ultimate Girl’s Night Out! Each dashing bachelor comes with an incredible Dream Date which includes dinner at one of Killington’s finest restaurants and a special gift for the highest bidder. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. 21+ only. March 10th – Rail Jam
On Saturday, March 10th, Killington will host the annual rail jam. The venue will be set up at the base of Outer Limits and will be easily viewed from the deck while competitors battle it out. This event is open to snowboarders only and is limited to 50 participants. Registration will be day of the event and a minimum $10 donation to B4BC is required to participate in the event.
9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Registration and bib pickup Athlete Lounge on the third floor of Bear Lodge
10:30- 11:30 a.m. Practice
11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Open jam format
12:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Finalists will jam to determine the overall winners
1:00 p.m. Awards for competitors and fundraisers at the B4BC tent on the Bear Lodge Deck
While the rail jam is open only to snowboarders everyone, including competitors and non-competitors, are invited to help raise money. You can start your own online fundraising page or contribute as an individual donor. Top fundraisers will receive the following prizes for their efforts:
Top fundraiser, $500 minimum: Two day, two night lift and lodging package for two to Killington valid for the remainder of the 2006-2007 season.
All fundraisers who raise $250: Two vouchers to return to Killington for the remainder of the 2006-2007 season.
All fundraisers who raise $150: One voucher to return to Killington for the remainder of the 2006-2007 season
In addition, the top three fundraisers will also receive the following great prizes courtesy of Boarding for Breast Cancer:
1) GNU Barrett Christy Pro Model, DVS Shoe Voucher, Camelback, B4BC T-shirt
2) VZ Zorg Sunglasses, Nixon Vega watch, Camelback, B4BC T-shirt
