B4BC’s team of pro riders got it from their mamas!
We love loving the wonderful women we call our mothers, and today we’re excited to feature the moms of our amazing Team B4BC athletes! We think these mamas deserve to be recognized for their role in shaping our ladies into the amazing athletes, philanthropists and role models they are today. Our contributing athletes include Team B4BC surfers Courtney Conlogue and Sage Erickson, snowboarders Elena Hight, Jamie Anderson, Hana Beaman, Kaitlyn Farrington and Kimmy Fasani, skateboarder Mimi Knoop and wakeboarder Tarah Mikacich!
Happy Mother’s Day to all, and go hug your mom!
SURFER COURTNEY CONLOGUE AND MOM
“My mom is full of spunk, has endless amounts of positive energy, and has a passion for life that is untouchable. The moment I came into this world my mom protected me and guided me in my journey towards my passions from schools to seas. When I’d fall she’d lend me a hand and brush my knees. Whether I’m shedding tears of sorrow or tears of joy she’s there for me. The selflessness of my mom is present everyday and she doesn’t have the initials TLC by coincidence. She is TLC to me. Happy Mother’s Day Mom! Xo”
SNOWBOARDER KIMMY FASANI AND MOM
“My mom has always been my biggest supporter. She encourages me, loves me, comforts me. My mom has taught me how to be strong, independent, and compassionate. Her courage and outlook on life has showed me that anything is possible!”
SURFER SAGE ERICKSON AND MOM
SNOWBOARDER JAMIE ANDERSON AND MOM
“Me and my mom at the Doobie Brothers concert in Lake Tahoe. I feel beyond blessed to have such a special connection with my mom. Not only is she my role model and inspiration, but she’s one of my best friends who I connect with on many different levels! Thank you for always being here for me mom. So much love and gratitude! Xoxo happy mothers day to all the amazing moms out there!”
SKATEBOARDER MIMI KNOOP AND MOM
WAKEBOARDER TARA MIKACICH AND MOM
“My mom is the sweetest, strongest, most caring woman I’ve ever known. She’s my best friend, my matron of honor, and I admire her every day. Love you Mom!”
SNOWBOARDER ELENA HIGHT, MOM, AND BROTHER
“I feel so blessed to have a mother that has been there for me since day one. Through it all she has always been the one I go to for support. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her! Happy Mother’s Day Mom, thank you for always being my rock. I love you more than you know.”
SNOWBOARDER KAITLYN FARRINGTON AND MOM
SNOWBOARDER HANA BEAMAN AND MOM
“My mom is cool. She sailed around the South Pacific in her youth. Modeled. Got into snowboarding before me. Won the Thanksgiving day Queen Crown from all the Grenade gang on Turkey day. Was an accomplice in throwing my “legendary” 21st surprise birthday party in Mammoth and always keeps me up on the latest skincare and beauty stuff. She is the reason I don’t look like I’m her mother! Through her I have learned that I can do anything. She has worked so hard to follow her passions and dreams and is not afraid to be strong, independent and funny. She always has guided me on the right path, and taught me self confidence, to follow my heart and not take myself too seriously. Anybody who has met her can see where I get many of my good qualities. And every now and then, when I laugh I can hear her laughing and it kinda freaks me out. But then again, there is no other laugh that makes me happier, because I know where it comes from. Love you soo much Momma.”
