LOS ANGELES, Calif., Jan. 16, 2008 Girls Learn To Ride (GLTR) and Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (PacSun) are pleased to announce the launch of an eBay online auction from Jan. 14-22, 2008, benefiting Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC). The auction will feature unique, one-of-a-kind packages from top action sports brands, including several limited-edition items that can’t be found in stores. Each package will also feature a PacSun gift card and passes to the PacSun Lounge at Winter X Games in Aspen, Jan. 24-27. Proceeds raised from the auction will go directly to help support B4BC’s breast cancer awareness and educational outreach programs.
Girls Learn To Ride has been a staunch supporter of Boarding for Breast Cancer since our inception in 1999, says GLTR Founder Mark Sperling. We are proud to continue to help B4BC spread awareness and conduct educational outreach through our partnership with PacSun at the 2008 Winter X Games.

In addition to the auction, a VIP party benefiting B4BC will take place at the PacSun Lounge Presented by GLTR, Friday Jan. 25th during the Women’s SuperPipe Snowboarding and Skiing Finals. Interviews and photos of top pro athletes from this event will be posted on the GLTR website the whole weekend of X Games.
