CALLING ALL BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS & THRIVERS!
B4BC’s Chasing Sunshine Mountain and Ocean Retreats are aimed at inspiring, educating, and connecting young women with nature based wellness experiences. These retreats are about empowerment and hope, and are tailored specifically towards young breast cancer patients and survivors, supporting them and enhancing their path to wellness and long-term survivorship.
We are excited to announce our first 2019 Chasing Sunshine Wellness Retreat, March 11th-14th in beautiful Aspen/Snowmass!
Resting at the base of the mountain, our lodging is at The Limelight Hotel-Snowmass and offers a warm cozy atmosphere.
We start our days with local therapist Emily Hightower of Intrinsic Wellness for yoga movement and breathwork.
After hitting the slopes, we have Integrative Dr. Jennifer Vitaro and Dr. Kellie Krasovec, DTCM joining us for educational discussions and individual acupuncture sessions. At this Mountain Retreat we will be skiing and snowboarding, all abilities are welcome.

B4BC + BALDFACE
In December we partnered with our friends at Baldface and Make Good Agency to fundraise for 4 women managing breast cancer to attend Women’s Week 2019 at the legendary backcountry powder lodge Baldface Lodge, B.C.
This is a 4 day event, April 1-4, 2019. You will need to have experience in untracked runs and be able to ski or snowboard in powder, (no grooming up there).

In 2018, our dear friend Michelle Zwirn lost her 18 month battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was 27 ½ years old. Originally misdiagnosed by her gynecologist in 2014, Michelle made it her mission to help spread awareness that breast cancer does not discriminate based on age.
With the outpouring of love from Michelle‘s family, friends and community, we were incredibly grateful to immediately contribute all funds donated in her name towards young thrivers/survivors to attend our Ocean Retreat based in Southern California in October 2018 and our Mountain Retreat in Winter 2019. These retreat experiences meant so much to Michelle and became a gateway for her to support others.
