B4BC Launches Be Healthy. Get Active. Ride! Campaign Featuring Pro Team Riders
Athletes and Partners Unite to Support Skate the Coast, Website Redesign, PSA and more
Redondo Beach, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2012) – B4BC (Boarding for Breast Cancer) is officially kicking off Breast Cancer Prevention Month with the reveal of the Be Healthy. Get Active. Ride! campaign. Filmed this past May at Leo Carrillo State Park in Malibu, Calif., the campaign offers a fresh, expansive take on B4BC’s mission of promoting a healthy, active lifestyle through official photos and videos from the spring Team Rider shoot, a PSA, website redesign and print and online assets featuring B4BC’s elite roster of athletes.
“Studies show that poor diet and lack of exercise can increase the risk for breast cancer and other chronic diseases,” said Erika Seward, executive director, B4BC. “Through this campaign, B4BC aims to inspire girls to take charge of their health and participate in board sports and other fun outlets for prevention.”
Be Healthy. Get Active. Ride! is made possible by B4BC’s Team Riders and brand + media partners who are committed to promoting this way of life through their collaboration and support.
