B4BC is proud to announce Jamie Anderson as the newest team rider to the B4BC family!
Slopestyle phenom and Olympic hopeful Jamie Anderson has joined Boarding for Breast Cancer’s all-star female pro team as part of the Be Healthy. Get Active. Ride! campaign to inspire and empower young women. Born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, Jamie first learned of B4BC at 10 years of age when she attended the B4BC Snowboard and Music Festival at Sierra-at-Tahoe, her first concert and big air event.
“Living a healthy and active life is one of the most important things to me. Our bodies are our temples!” said Anderson. “Connecting and working with B4BC is amazing, and I’m excited about creating more awareness and healthy inspiration for people all over the world!”
The now 23 year-old Anderson is a six-time X Games gold medalist, first place winner of the US, Europe, New Zealand, and Canadian Open, and the youngest TTR World Tour champion. She is also aligned with longtime B4BC partners and supporters Billabong, GoPro, Oakley and Sierra-at-Tahoe.
“Jamie naturally lives into B4BC’s mission and is a huge advocate for environmentally conscious living, family and friends,” said Erika Seward, executive director, B4BC. “We are thrilled to be welcoming her to the team.”
Anderson joins an elite roster of B4BC team riders, which include snowboarders Elena Hight, Kimmy Fasani, Hana Beaman and Kaitlyn Farrington, surfers Courtney Conlogue, Sage Erickson, Malia Manuel and Liz Clark, skateboarders Mimi Knoop and Allysha Bergado, and wakeboarder Tarah Mikacich.
Also, to welcome Jamie to the team, B4BC is running an Instagram “#SHREDTHELOVE with Jamie Anderson” contest from 1/14 – 1/28, encouraging participants to post snow-themed photos showing how they live healthy and active (must tag photos @b4bc #shredthelove, and follow @b4bc and @jamieandersonsnow).
