To cap off our week of B4BC’s Shred the Love winter series beneficiary highlights, we are excited to include the Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center as the beneficiary for Sugar Bowl Resort! The center offers medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, digital mammography, chemotherapy infusion, pharmacy and lab, in addition to a comprehensive physical therapy, family support program and psychosocial services program for the entire Truckee/Lake Tahoe region and beyond. We are proud to give back to a community that has given so much to us!
Our week long roster of Shred the Love events in Lake Tahoe would not have been possible without Sterner Curt and Allison Smith (Anchoredin Photography), Sugar Bowl’s John Monson, and our friends and sponsors at Woodward Tahoe, MAHFIA, Mamasake Squaw, Yoga Studio Tahoe, and all the other friends, volunteers, sponsors and participants that helped make it happen! We are forever grateful to you all for helping to further B4BC’s mission of promoting early detection + a healthy, active lifestyle. Our work is continually inspired by your generosity and support year after year.
