That’s a wrap on an amazing 4 days at X Games Aspen 2016! The crazy weather conditions didn’t stop anyone from coming out to watch the world’s best winter athletes compete all weekend long. Thousands of X Games goers came by the B4BC booth in the ESPN Corporate Citizenship tent to get autograph signings by Team B4BC riders Jamie Anderson, Elena Hight and Kaitlyn Farrington, take the B4BC Prevention Pledge, and learn how to Check One, Two. We’re all about teaching the youth the best ways to prevent breast cancer and this was an amazing place to do just that!
The week got started on Wednesday night at the X Games Kick-Off Bash benefitting B4BC and the Jimmy V Foundation. The event allowed the public into the athelete lounge for the first time ever and featured live music by HONEYHONEY as well as a photo auction featuring the 20 Most Iconic Snowboard Photos of All Time curated by Nemo Design.
We want to give a huge thank you shoutout to ESPN for bringing us together with the Jimmy V Foundation, the Colorado Water Trust, the Chris Klug Foundation, and the Special Olympics for 4 amazing days of outreach. Each day, hundreds of visitors visited the ESPN Corporate Citizenship tent to get educated and learn about different nonprofit organizations. After learning what a cancerous lump feels like and the importance of early detection, these ladies were inspired to take our Prevention Pledge, promising to make a positive lifestyle change to reduce their breast cancer risk.
B4BC team riders Jamie Anderson, Kaitlyn Farrington, and Elena Hight all took time out of their crazy schedules to swing by the B4BC booth to sign autographs and take pictures with tons of lucky X Games goers. We’re so grateful to have such amazing ladies on our team who promote our mission to Be Healthy, Get Active.

Huge congrats to team rider Jamie Anderson who took silver in Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle! Rounding out the podium were Spencer O’Brien who took gold and 15-year-old Hailey Langland took bronze. Congrats to all the amazing athletes who competed this weekend!
