These past few days on the road have been action-packed up along the Northern CA Coast. Our Check One, Two Campus Tour landed at UC-Santa Cruz yesterday for a wet, yet excellent day of educational outreach. It rained much of the day, but that didn’t stop us or the students at UCSC from stopping by our booth to educate themselves about early detection and prevention.
Following our campus activation, Katelynn and I explored the redwood forest that is literally situated on the UCSC campus. It was an incredible and a fun way for us to stay active & connected to nature on the road. (Side Note: UCSC’s mascot is the “Banana Slug”. Those slimers were everywhere on our hike—see photo below!)

These past couple of days we were also stoked to connect with our team riders Sage Erickson & Malia Manuel in Santa Cruz at the O’Neill Coldwater Classic for some of the surf action at Steamer Lane.
We capped off yesterday at the Lane with an incredible sunset.
Today we’re cruising back down the coast and heading home before we finish up our Campus Tour next week!
Sending good vibes from the road and we’ll check in again next week….
