Our 7th Annual Skate the Lake (STL) in Lake Tahoe, CA is quickly approaching, August 19th + 20th. This unique longboarding marathon runs along a 32-mile portion of North Lake Tahoe, advocating an active lifestyle, all while raising awareness and funds for Boarding For Breast Cancer’s educational programs.
Since it’s inception this event and our annual Skate the Coast (Oct. 29, 2011) events have attracted more than 1,000 participants and fundraised over $45,000 for our cause!
We invite YOU to push with us on August 20th and encourage you to take part in our online fundraising contest at ACTIVEGIVING.COM. Top (3) fundraisers will be awarded rad sponsor prizes! We thank you in advance for your efforts as we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without your fundraising help!

Pre-Event Registration Party: August 19th (9am to 9pm) at Heritage Plaza in Tahoe City, CA to include live music, silent auction, food, drinks and more! If you register online this event is where you’ll pick up your event t-shirt, goodie bags, and any further updates for the morning skate!
Day of Skate Schedule:
7:30am – 8:30am Stretching & light snacks
8:30am – 9am Photo ops & announcements
9am Starting line, the skate begins
2:00pm ‘ish Finish Line and closing ceremony at Heritage Plaza in Tahoe City, CA
