B4BC 2019 Snow Season
Winter Wrap Up
We are thrilled to announce B4BC’s most successful and busiest Snow Season to date! In the past 6 months, we produced 8 Shred The Love events at mountains nationwide, hosted 2 Chasing Sunshine Mountain Wellness Retreats for 20 beautiful young survivors and our outreach booth educated tens of thousands of women and men at 10 major snow events. We are invigorated and inspired by the record number of people we were able to reach and educate over the past few months and the amount of funds we raised. Check out our highlights below!
The Stats
We are so excited to announce that the Shred the Love Series Presented by Suja Organic raised over $70K and our overall winter snow season raised over $100K!
The Series is not only a fundraising tool, but a way to further our mission of peer-to-peer prevention education. This season B4BC educated over 100K on the hill, teaching how to do self Breast Exams and what a potentially cancerous lump may feel like and spreading the word that EARLY DETECTION and a HEALTHY ACTIVE LIFESTYLE is the BEST PREVENTION.
B4BC feels a strong need to give back to local breast cancer organizations in the mountain communities we fundraise in. This year we were able to give back $9K collectively to The Anita Salas Memorial Fund (Taos, NM) and The Breasties (Camelback,PA/Waterville Valley,NH).

B4BC joined forces with Snowboy Productions, Jess Kimura and Barrett Cummins for the 2nd annual spring ladies shred, dedicated to having fun and being creative on big mounds of snow shaped like boobs. Krush and his Snowboy Team built a phenomenal park to showcase some of the best and upcoming females in snowboarding and people of all ages and abilities showed up to ride with their favorite ladies and support the cause.
Over $9000 was raised to support B4BC’s education, prevention and survivorship programs.
