GIVING THANKS // Wanted to give a shout out to B4BC volunteer & friend Frank Alvarado. We met Frank 4 years ago when he joined us at our annual Skate the Lake event where he was pushing in honor of a friend who was losing her battle with breast cancer.
Frank’s been rolling as a part of the B4BC family ever since & has taken his volunteerism to the next level by hosting two annual events benefiting B4BC called Ride The Tide (13.1 mile skate) and Paint & Destroy Cancer (skate art show). Last month Frank rallied his community (the city of Manteca, CA) to come together for these two awareness & prevention events, collectively fundraising over $5,000 for B4BC’s efforts!
Frank has a heart of gold and B4BC couldn’t do what we do if we didn’t have people like him helping us fundraise & spread the good word along the way .
So THANK YOU Frank and to all of our amazing volunteers who continuously inspire us to keep charging, we’re grateful to have you a part of our team! xo
