X Games Austin 2015 has officially wrapped! Thousand of X Games goers stopped by the B4BC booth in the Marvel Next X Park to get educated and learn how to Check One Two. We’re all about teaching the youth the best ways to prevent breast cancer and this was an amazing place to do just that! Tons of people stopped by to take our Prevention Pledge and get autographs from our newest B4BC team rider, skateboarder Leticia Bufoni, as well as some of the top women in motocross, Tarah Geiger, Sandra Gomes, and Gray Leadbetter.
We're well aware that often times meditation is easier than it sounds. Meditation can be different for each and every person and it may take some experimenting to figure out what exactly works for you. We promise you that the reward is worth the struggle. Meditation can help reduce your blood pressure, decrease inflammation, and give you an overall better sense of balance and calmness. A study at the Ohio State University found that progressive muscular relaxation (meditation), when practiced daily, reduced the risk of breast cancer recurrence. Pretty amazing what sitting still can do for you! This week we're bringing you a special post from North Face athlete and breast cancer survivor, Megan Pischke. We’ve wrapped on another amazing year of B4BC’s Shred The Love winter series, and we are thrilled to announce that we raised over $65,000 for Boarding for Breast Cancer’s education, prevention and support programs! We would like to extend our love and thanks to our 2015 resorts and community partners and to the thousands of individual fundraisers, participants and supporters who helped Shred The Love with us this winter season. The funds raised will not only tremendously impact our programs, but additional breast health non-profit beneficiaries in the communities where events were hosted. Team B4BC rider Kimmy Fasani is back with her 3rd annual Amusement Park all-female photo shoot session at Mammoth Mountain from April 25th-28th, 2015, and with that there will also be a Burton Girls Ride Day and a B4BC Bowl-A-Thon at Rock N Bowl! Fifteen of the top female riders this season will be joining Kimmy in a private photo shoot that celebrates women’s progression in snowboarding. The ladies will be taking over Main Park at Mammoth Mountain, with evening sessions on a jump designed to push their skills. Amusement Park will continue to offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity for the top female pros to show the world what they can do.

B4BC’s Shred The Love Tour stop at Powder Ridge on Saturday, February 28th 2015 was a huge success! Sº4 Mag hosted the event at the midwest resort in Kimball, MN for the 2nd year in a row.
