The way we see it, most of us are sitting down for a huge portion of our day. For many of us, our days revolve around our desk and computer. It may not fall under our idea of a classic workout (it’s no jog in the park), but if we know the proper way to sit, we can utilize our time behind our desks for more than just work.

It’s no secret we LOVE water. We’ll take it in any form: ocean, lake, snow, you name it! But our bodies love water just as much (if not more) than we do ourselves. We always hear people reminding us to drink enough water but not many people realize just how important it truly is. A dehydrated body is a VERY unhappy body and that can lead to all kinds of different health issues. Our bodies use water in many ways from cushioning and lubricating joints to nourishing and protecting the brain, spinal cord and other tissues to TONS of other things. Humans are composed mostly of water and although the human body can go up to a month without food, our bodies can only survive approximately one week without water. Lack of water reduces the amount of blood in your body, forcing your heart to pump harder in order to deliver oxygen-bearing

Short term effects of sleep depravation are evident and more and more studies are being conducted to find out if there are less obvious, long-term effects.
