B4BC’s 9th Annual Skate the Coast Raises $20K

This weekend marked the end of this year’s Skate Series with 100 participants coming out to B4BC’s 9th Annual Skate the Coast! The skaters pushed along a beautiful 18-mile course from the Santa Monica Pier to the Redondo Beach pier while raising over $20,000 for B4BC’s education, prevention and support programs!

B4BC’s 11th ANNUAL SKATE THE LAKE RAISES $30K

It’s a wrap on B4BC’s 11th Skate the Lake! We had an amazing weekend in Lake Tahoe filled with tons of fun and an overwhelming amount of love and support and… it was a record breaking year! Our 100 participants raised over $26,000 for Boarding for Breast Cancer’s education, prevention and support programs!

US Open of Surfing 2015 Recap

It was an amazing 5 days of outreach at the Vans US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, California! This was our 14th consecutive year onsite and we had just as much fun as ever! Thousands of beach-goers swung by the B4BC educational outreach booth to get educated and learn about the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle. Using jelly breast molds, we taught people of all ages how to check themselves and showed them what a potentially cancerous lump might feel like. Tons of booth visitors decided to take our prevention pledge and promised to themselves to make more positive lifestyle choices and some picked up a copy of the brand new B4BC Basecamp Zine!

Supergirl Pro 2015 Recap

We are back in the office after an AMAZING weekend at the Supergirl Pro in Oceanside, California where we spent the last 3 days on the shore at B4BC Basecamp. This all-female contest is a WSL 6 star event and showcases the world’s best female surfers. The event is all about empowering young women & we were stoked to be a part of it once again!

X Games Austin 2015 Recap

X Games Austin 2015 has officially wrapped! Thousand of X Games goers stopped by the B4BC booth in the Marvel Next X Park to get educated and learn how to Check One Two. We’re all about teaching the youth the best ways to prevent breast cancer and this was an amazing place to do just that! Tons of people stopped by to take our Prevention Pledge and get autographs from our newest B4BC team rider, skateboarder Leticia Bufoni, as well as some of the top women in motocross, Tarah Geiger, Sandra Gomes, and Gray Leadbetter.
