Host An Event
If you are a mountain, skatepark or snow/surf/skate shop and want to support B4BC you can do it the following ways:
Host a Board-a-thon Event
Board/Ski-A-Thons are one-day events modeled after our successful Snowboard + Music Festival, created to support B4BC's nationwide effort to educate young people about breast cancer.
Board-A-Thons usually entail the following:
- Sponsor Festival Area (educational area for B4BC and host non-profit booths)
- Concert Stage with bands and DJ's (day of or pre/post event party)
- Snowboarding Competitions - Rail Jam, Slopestyle or Halfpipe, or Races
- Ride for the cure pledge drive fundraising
- Learn To Ride snowboarding clinics and snowboard demos
- After-party
Be a Pink Partner
If you are a mountain interested in supporting the cause but not able to host an event we suggest contacting B4BC about the Pink Mountain program to learn how you can help raise awareness in your community.
High School or College Senior Projects
If you are a high school or college student looking for an fun and interesting way to earn credit you can follow in the foot steps of Kelsey Louglin from Windham Mountain, NY, Shelly Bowen from Sunday River, ME, and Kimberly Stevens from Windham Mountain, NY and produce an event for B4BC in exchange for credit.
