Held on the rooftop lounge of the Allegria Hotel in Long Beach, NY on August 18, Ooh La La Boutiques hosted their 3rd annual Glitz Glamour Groove Give runway show, putting fashion into action by raising $4,000 for B4BC’s outreach and education programming. In true New York Fashion, celebrity guests Jill Zarin, of the Real Housewives of New York, and Karen Gravano and Ramona Rizzo, of Mob Wives, were in attendance; encouraging guests to stop over to the B4BC table and learn how to Check One, Two.
The runway show took place poolside, overlooking the moonlit ocean, while the action inside included music by DJ Freqnik of the Red Bull Music Academy, delicious food from executive chef Todd Jacobs (complete with a shark made of butter) raffle baskets galore (including a women’s shopping trip to Paris!) a beauty bar for last-minute glam, and tasty desserts from the Moon River Bakery.
Big hugs to Jenny Montiglio, Natalie Orellana and the rest of the ladies of Ooh La La Boutiques for hosting the lavish event, to Dr. Patrick Mcmanus of Beach Babies, Broward Limousine, and the many raffle donors who helped make it a huge success; Je Suis. PARIS, 8 Knots, York Surf, Elegantly Untamed, Unmarx, Forty9 Fifty5, Dana Renee Style, Adea Everyday Luxury, Amplivox (for their pink podium!), Hive Lip Balm, Robert Pendergrast, M.D., Sia Botanics, and Tomboy Tools. Let us not forget the amazing community and local businesses of Long Beach, Huntington, Sayville and Babylon, for also donating their time, efforts and product to the event (the list was so grand that Ooh La La Boutqiues graciously thanked them on their own site!)
