B4BC was honored to be included in the 2015 SIMA Image Awards last night as one of SIMA’s Humanitarian Fund nonprofit partners in Anaheim, CA. The evening was full of surf industry icons, as well as everyone’s favorite brands—including longtime supporters and partners of B4BC like AMUSE SOCIETY, Volcom, SUN BUM and Mizu.
There were several surprise guests who made the evening especially entertaining, including a performance by Carah Faye Charnow, formerly of Shiny Toy Guns, and skate legends Mike McGill, Christian Hosoi, Steve Caballero, and Tony Alva who provided a personal perspective on how surf culture helped shaped their own style over the years.
Josh Kerr and his daughter, 8-year-old surfer Sierra Kerr, 8, were a couple of the industry icons flaunting it on the red carpet.
Our friends at Amuse Society, who won Women’s Apparel Brand of the Year, dominated the red carpet with their amazing crew of ladies.
The SIMA StokesMe Campaign and humanitarian volunteer committee were honored for their work, and also awarded Sun Diego as top retailer in its 2015 fundraising efforts for surf-related humanitarian organizations.
