Our Impact

B4BC aims to eliminate breast cancer deaths in present and future generations by arming young people with the tools necessary to reduce their risks and lead longer, healthier lives.

We’re on the road nearly 10 months out of the year providing one-on-one peer education and valuable preventative information to hundreds of thousands of young people with the simple message that Early Detection + Healthy, Active Lifestyle = Best Prevention.

Over the past 17 years, B4BC has demonstrated a commitment to giving back to local communities, research-based organizations and others affected by this disease by awarding the following:

Over $500,000 raised through B4BC's Snowboard + Music Festivals for beneficiaries that included The Breast Cancer Fund, The Susan G. Komen Foundation, The Nina Hyde Center For Breast Cancer Research and a variety of regional breast cancer support organizations

27 grants, from 2009-2012, for breast cancer survivors through The B4BC Survivorship Fund, a B4BC support program that connects breast cancer survivors with nature-based wellness retreats

$25,000 for 27 climbers of the Breast Cancer Fund’s 2012 Climb Against the Odds with funds providing The North Face gear and outerwear for their ascent of Mt. Shasta, California

Granting of funds for local beneficiaries, through B4BC board-a-thons, that have included Camp Good Days, The HERA Foundation, The Munson Medical Center, Anita Salas Memorial Fund, Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center and many others
